Synopsis: An intense fog causes Scooby and Shaggy to lag behind the rest of the gang in the Mystery Machine. This causes them to spend the night on Staten Island in New York City. While looking for coffee the next day, Shaggy and Scooby meet the Impractical Jokers and discover that Murr has been kidnapped. Will Shaggy and Scooby help the Jokers? Who is behind the mask that is terrorizing the citizens of New York City?

Length: Approximately 5000 words. This includes five chapters and an epilogue.

Author’s Notes: This is easily the dumbest idea I’ve ever had. Or maybe it’s the most brilliant. I have no way of knowing. This idea came to me a few months ago when I was editing my novel. I also saw this as a great way to stretch my writer muscles. To take things that people have seen on TV (such as the scoopski potatoes bit) and try to write about it in a way that is both fun and entertaining? Definitely not easy.

That said, though, this may be one of the most fun fanfics I’ve ever written. I had a lot of fun writing this, and I hope that you have a lot of fun reading it.
